GLASS

Birex celebrates a contemporary love of refinement and luxury by using transparent or lacquered glass in bathroom furniture tops and cabinets, thus giving them unparalleled luminosity.

The glass is cut straight or shaped using water-jet technology, then ground to remove any sharp edges, and finally drilled and milled.

COMPOSITION

Glass is the result of the fusion of natural substances, mainly silicon oxide, which are subsequently tempered at very high temperatures to increase its strength.

TECHNICAL FEATURES

Birex furniture uses toughened glass, a material that is characterised by its hardness, strength and elasticity, ensuring good shock-absorption capacity and fragmentation into non-cutting pieces if broken. However, it's important to avoid exposing it to violent shocks or falls in order to preserve its integrity.

CLEANING

To keep the surface clean, we recommend using neutral liquid detergents and a soft cloth. We also recommend avoiding abrasive products such as trichloroethylene, acetone or solvents.

SUSTAINABILITY

Glass is a natural material that can be totally recycled without loss of quality. If properly recycled through separate waste collection, glass is also an example of that circular economy we all want.
